- Those periods where nothing
compared to what is going on today. Cultures collide and don’t confine anymore
to local quarrels but are spread worldwide in a conflict that knows no precedent;
never before the situation was so highly explosive at such a broad level. Distance
means nothing anymore and total chaoses with especially cultural and social
differences as basis are no longer utopian. Thanks to economical motives the
natural alliances of overlapping and
related cultures evolved in earlier times, are no longer evidently and
in some cases openly collaborate with the enemy: is how some see nowadays
relations. That this on itself dangerous situation has its response on the Gods
speeches for itself. Of course every God or God-cluster chooses for its own
adherents and as opposites being fought more openly this mirrors at the
pantheon where in the mean time a situation aroused which seems the most like a
kennel blood thirsty dogs: remove the fences and total war is a fact!
- This tension did not go
unnoticed on earth and was being translated into more frequent and heavier
natural disasters which apparently obliterate the differences for a moment but are
motive to even enlarge the contradictions immediately after. That some blame
each other for which looks like a natural phenomenon is known, and it is just a
matter of time before the Gods will directly interfere; outbreak to the earths
surface to choose each for themselves the side of the own followers.
- If this happens a catastrophe
is inevitable and the downfall of as well Gods as humans will be a fact. It
is high time to send someone down as a catalyst: no warrior of wizard who will
even increase the smoldering discontent through aggression. It is time for a
more wary and refined approach; someone who is capable of investigating the
true cause of the conflict and will manifest, so the Gods will become conscious
of the escalating situation which will lead to their own destruction eventually.’
- Die periodes waren niets vergeleken met wat nu speelt. Culturen botsen en
beperken zich niet meer tot plaatselijke ruzies maar zijn mondiaal verspreid
tot een conflict dat geen precedent kent. De situatie was nooit tevoren op zo
grote schaal explosief. Afstand betekent niets meer en totale chaos met vooral
culturele en sociale verschillen als basis zijn niet langer utopisch. Dankzij
economische motieven zijn de in vroeger tijden natuurlijk gegroeide allianties
van elkaar overlappende en verwante culturen niet vanzelfsprekend meer en
heulen in sommige gevallen openlijk met de vijand, althans dat is hoe sommigen
tegen de huidige verhoudingen aankijken. Dat deze van zichzelf heikele situatie
zijn weerslag op de Goden heeft spreekt voor zich. Natuurlijk kiest elke God of
Godencluster voor zijn of haar achterban en naarmate tegenstellingen steeds
openlijker worden bevochten weerspiegelt dat in het pantheon waar inmiddels een
situatie ontstond die nog het meest lijkt op een kennel bloeddorstige honden:
haal de hekken weg en de totale oorlog is een feit!
- Deze spanning bleef op aarde niet onopgemerkt en vertaalde zich in steeds
frequenter en heviger voorkomende natuurrampen die ogenschijnlijk de
verschillen voor een moment lijken uit te wissen maar onmiddellijk daarna
aanleiding zijn om de tegenstellingen nog te vergroten. Dat sommigen zelfs
elkaar de schuld geven van wat een natuurlijk fenomeen lijkt is geweten, en het
is een kwestie van tijd voordat de Goden zich openlijk bemoeien. Uitbraak naar
het aardoppervlak om daar elk voor zich de kant van de eigen aanhang te kiezen.
- Als dat gebeurt is een ramp onafwendbaar en de ondergang van zowel Goden
als mensen een feit. Het is de hoogste tijd iemand als katalysator omlaag te
sturen. Geen krijger of magiër die met agressie de smeulende onvrede nog
aanwakkert. Het is tijd voor een omzichtiger en verfijnder aanpak. Iemand die
in staat is de werkelijke oorzaak van het conflict te onderzoeken en blootlegt,
zodat de Goden zich bewust worden van de escalerende situatie die uiteindelijk
naar hun eigen ondergang leidt.’
