- ‘You are a clever
student. Your predecessors sometimes needed days to control illusion. Only the
wizard was quicker, what was to be expected, but you are even faster then her and
that surprises me and yet not because it illustrates where we look for: strength
and fantasy as base for real curiosity. You grope and with that you leave the
possibility open to collect as much as possible information to implement in
your imagination.
- I would
almost think that you are ready, much sooner then I expected. Now you understand
the principle of illusion you must be able to unveil it. But lets not run too
fast’; he thoughtfully goes on. ‘Maybe it is wise to practice a couple of days first

fantasie als basis voor werkelijke nieuwsgierigheid. Jij tast af en laat
daarbij elke mogelijkheid open om zoveel mogelijk informatie te verzamelen die
je vervolgens fantastisch gebruikt.
- Ik zou bijna denken dat je geslaagd bent, veel
sneller dan ik verwachtte. Nu je het principe van illusie begrijpt moet je in
staat zijn het te ontmaskeren. Maar laten we niet te hard van stapel lopen’;
laat hij er bedachtzaam op volgen. ‘Misschien is het verstandig eerst nog een
dag of wat te oefenen voordat je aan de missie begint want de beproevingen
zullen hard zijn en er hangt veel vanaf, waarom het beter is dat je maximaal
voorbereid en uitgerust vertrekt.’
