Jeker park photo book

One of the many parks in Maastricht was founded on the rural bank of the Jeker river. They left it like it was, created some paths for walking the dog and yourself, and planted some plants that had to be here, but were vanished during the years. For YouTube result: Jeker park photo book

Hezerwater photo book

There is not much left of this ancient stream, where 170.000 years ago Neanderthal people camped. Just some ponds mark today this creek or river. Imagine: humans already living in Maastricht and surroundings while Homo Sapiens still had to develop in  the center of Africa's continent… For best viewing results visit YouTube: Hezerwater

Heemtuin CNME / Botanical garden Maastricht

On the bank of the river Jeker is a large piece of soil that is used by Maastrichts volunteer organization for nature as a botanical garden with only flora that grows naturally in the immediate surroundings. It is an education center, but one also can buy plants. Of course the seed-spread can be noticed in a far more larger area than just the garden. For YouTube quality go to: Heemtuin CNME fotoboek

ENCI groeve en hoeve de Lichtenberg photo book

It is a perfect example of how we destroy our planet… For YouTube result: ENCI groeve en hoeve Lichtenberg fotoboek

From Downtown Maastricht

It was because of the bird sounds that I made this film. Normally I store a photo compilation in a film when I have a lot, not just 20. But one piece of film of the Jeker made the difference: quite and still, and then this one bird whistling, echoing over the water… For YouTube result: from downtown Maastricht
